General Dermatology Services Now Offered at SCCS

We are excited to announce Barbara Acosta, PA-C has accepted an ongoing position with Skin Cancer Care Specialists to provide patients with full skin examinations and general dermatologic services. As a certified Physician Assistant Barbara has been practicing in the field of dermatology for over 15 years and we are happy to offer her skill set to our patients.
With the addition of Barbara to Skin Cancer Care Specialists patients will have expanded access to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin including, but not limited to, eczema, contact dermatitis and skin cancer. Barbara will offer a number of dermatologic services such as cryotherapy, biopsies, curettage-desiccation, surgical excisions, photodynamic therapy with the Blu-U light and wound care follow up.
