UPDATED SARS-CoV-2 PRACTICE POLICY NOTICE – August 2021
The providers and staff at Skin Cancer Care Specialists hope you and your families are faring well during this time. We understand the pandemic has been trying as individuals and as a community. Please know our providers and staff want you to be as comfortable as possible when you come to our office for your appointment.
Below is an update on our practice policies which will affect your next visit to our office.
FULLY VACCINATED STAFF: Skin Cancer Care Specialists is pleased to announce our entire staff has been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Universal Mask Policy: All patients and visitors to our office are required to wear a non-medical mask or face covering fully covering their nose and mouth.
Patient Screening: Every patient will have a screening for any respiratory symptoms before they come to the office and again at check-in before entering the clinical suite.
Patient Hand Hygiene: All patients and visitors are required to sanitize their hands using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer provided by our office immediately upon arrival to our office.
Social Distancing: We are achieving social distancing by spacing out patients with the goal to eliminate waiting in our waiting room. Please follow directions by our staff members to help us maintain a safe environment for you and other patients.
Telemedicine: In addition to our regular office hours, where possible, we are offering telemedicine. If you have an appointment that qualifies for a telemedicine visit you may be given the option to be seen virtually instead of at our office.
In addition to the measures outlined above we are continuing our strict standards of infection control.
